He holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Post graduate Degree in Management and a diploma in Export Marketing from IIFT and has worked at different leadership positions. He has over 46 years of industry work experience.
He is currently the Director at Waste to Energy projects of Jindal Urban Infrastructure Limited and the President & Whole Time Director at Jindal ITF Limited, a 100% owned subsidiary of Jindal SAW limited (a part of O P Jindal Group).
In the past, he was President and CEO of Electro steel castings limited, Kolkata and responsible for the growth and operations of the Infrastructure business of the company. He has worked as an Executive Director with Jindal Water Infrastructure Ltd (JWIL) New Delhi. In this leadership role, he was responsible for driving growth for JWIL in the water business besides overseeing the successful execution of company’s existing projects.
Prior to joining JWIL, he was the Chief Executive (Vice President) with India’s leading multinational Larsen & Toubro Baroda leading the Water business.
He was associated with Jindal Saw Ltd. as a Director from 2003 to 2007 in setting up of the prestigious and challenging Greenfield project of the manufacturing of Ductile Iron Pipe business in Gujarat.
From 1996 to 2003, he has worked at Global leadership positions with Allied Signal/ Honeywell USA, a fortune 100 company. He was also the member of Asia Pacific business council of Allied Signal.
He is an HR leader with over two decades of cross-cultural experience in global MNCs & Indian corporations with expertise in delivering sustained organizational growth in dynamic organizations, establishing & driving people architecture for growth, building employee value and achieving strategic goals. He is responsible for driving the entire spectrum of people initiatives in the organization. He has a rich experience of managing and leading teams in large & diverse global and Indian MNCs like Siemens, Schneider Electric, Goodyear Tires & Indian Hotels Company Ltd. Besides India, he has also worked in Paris & HK.
He was awarded Most Innovative HR Tech Leader (India) in 2021 and has also accepted award for being Delhi’s Best Employer Brand on behalf of the Company in 2019.
Besides his current role, he is also responsible for the HR functions for the upcoming WtE power plants in Guntur & Visakhapatnam (in AP) and manufacturing of railway freight wagons (at Vadodara). He is a regular speaker in professional forums and in engineering & management institute campuses.
Widely reputed for innovative solutions and breakthrough results delivered in waste to energy business, Mr. Sandip Dutt has proved himself to be an inspiring leader in every organization he has been a part of. He received his Engineering Degree in Mechanical from the Utkal University, Orissa.
A firm believer in leading by example, Mr. Dutt has consistently driven initiatives that have raised the bar of efficacy & accountability, beating the odds of Waste to Energy Business. In his previous association with Mukand Engineers Ltd., he played a vital role in setting up a basic Oxygen Furnace in association with Russian Consortium comprising of ZSM, GIRPOMEZ and TEP. He has over two decades of experience in setting up integrated refined sugar and distillery plants, captive power plants and waste to energy plants. He is good at conceptualization of steam economy measures and attaining plant efficiency. He specially enjoys creating structure and alignment in new and unexplored areas.
Presently he is heading the Delhi operations of JITF Urban Infrastructure Ltd. He is an imminent speaker on the issues related to Waste, Environment and Energy. He envisioned making the zero wastage WtE model.
Bikramjit Singh certified BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer) from Kanpur and pursued his Bachelor of Engineering from Shivaji University, Maharashtra after completing Diploma in Production & Industrial Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic, Amritsar.
With a total work experience of over 17 years, he has worked in various industries including manufacturing, sugar, steel and Waste to Energy. During these various assignments, he has been a key member of various teams in Projects, O&M, Material Management, Insurance, CDM, REC, etc. He has contributed significantly for setting up of 5, 10 & 15 MW biomass power plants, conversion of old AFBC to dumping grate, condensing to backpressure turbine etc. and has demonstrated operational stability of 130 TPH Boiler, Water Conservation in Power Plant, Automation to reduce Auxiliary consumption, increase equipment availability, etc.
Presently he heads the O&M of Plant where he inculcates his rich experience to O&M team to achieve and perform better by implementing good engineering practices. He is very energetic and enthusiastic for implementing new technologies in WtE sector.
